The Baker Evaluation Research Consulting (BERC) Group has just completed and published its first full evaluation report on the Bridge to College courses (see file above). The report includes both quantitative and qualitative data on both the student and the teacher experience in the courses and provides the first look at performance data tracking Bridge to College students into college to see how they did in their first year. Overall the results are very positive, especially given the cohort being tracked is the first group to go through the courses (and the courses have been refined over the subsequent two years), but the findings also identify some key areas for improvement that will be a major focus for the project in the 2018-19 school year.
