Recent Honors for Bridge to College English Teachers
As a great reminder of the outstanding teachers who are drawn to both teaching and providing leadership for our Bridge to College courses, I just wanted to highlight here a couple of recent awards received by two of our Bridge to College English course leaders:
Stephanie King from Granger High School was named 2020 regional teacher of the teacher for ESD 105; you can see a lovely video honoring her and her students here.
Brooke Brown from Washington HS in the Franklin Pierce School District was named 2021 regional teacher of the year for ESD 121, and it was just announced that she won the statewide teacher of the year award.
Congratulations to Stephanie and Brooke; we are delighted–and very fortunate–that they are veteran leaders in and passionate supporters of our Bridge to College program!
